Resolutions for the New Year

I don't know about you, but I'm the kind of person who loves the start of the New Year because I love those shiny, new goals.  It's time to start fresh and dream of what can be.

As far as my digital projects go, I've been thinking through my goals for 2013.  Here are a couple of my plans for the upcoming year (and for this blog!)

  • First of all, I plan to keep up-to-date with my family pages this year.  This is normally not something I would be so giddy about attempting, but CM just made it SO much easier to do, that I'm going to commit.  Here's what I'm talking about:

Photo a Day Predesigned Pages

This may look pretty basic here, but that's the beauty.  Just start adding those photos as you take them … 1,2,3,4,5 and so on.  When you plug in your phone or your camera's memory card, pick those photos you like and just drop them in right then.  It's that easy.  The embellishment of the page is SO easy after that!

So, that's my first resolution … to get my photos into the book the same day I offload them from my camera.  That will sure beat feeling stressed out at the end of the year when I still have 8 months' worth of pages to finish.

  • My second resolution?  I really want to start working on some family history research, starting with my husband's family this year.  I have some info that I bought with the purpose of using it and sharing it with you, and I haven't gotten around to it yet.  So, that's the next thing: steps to finding more information and working through the family tree.
  • My third resolution?  To spend a little more time with you!  Right now, I'm working on a plan to start regular live webinars each month to help you with Memory Manager 4.0 and Storybook Creator Plus 4.0.  I'm hoping to get the actual dates and details on the calendar by the end of the weekend.

For this, though, here's what I need from you.  COMMENTS!    Please let me know in the Comments section below if you would be interested in live webinars to help with the software, and what you would like to learn!

These are my three big resolutions this year.  What do you want to do with your books this year?  Until the next time, Enjoy!

  1. I would love to watch live webinars to learn more about SB 4.0. I am not sure what specifically. I am just getting ready to install my upgrade, so I need to learn everything. I also enjoy the short training sessions you have done in the past during monthly crops.
