Building Your Family Calendar ~ Part 1

One of the best gifts that I've made with Storybook Creator Plus 3.0 are personalized wall calendars, and I'll tell you why.  This is the one thing that I've created in the past that my husband has been begging me to make again.  In fact, I didn't make one for the year 2011, and I don't know that I can count how many times my husband has complained that we miss a birthday because of it.

Here's the best thing about the calendars: if you like to be “prepared” for Christmas gift-giving, the best time to start working on your calendars is RIGHT NOW, and I'll tell you why.

CM is having a 20% off sale on all calendars during the month of October.  Get it ready now and you'll be in great shape to get it ordered before the sale runs out.

So, want to know how to go about it?  Read on for the first installment … we'll break it down into segments to make it super easy to do.  Enjoy!

Building Your Family Calendar ~ Part 1

To start with, you'll have to create your calendar project.  There are 2 sizes you can create, based on the two square page styles that you can create in SBC+3.0.  The first is a 12 x 18 calendar, and the smaller size is 8 x 12.  Both offer the ability to remove the calendar portion at the bottom when the month or year is over and slide the remaining 12×12 or 8×8 page into an album or display.

One more thing before creating the project … you have to download the calendar themes for the size that you have chosen.  You can use the free calendar themes here, or you can choose more themed calendar templates here.  Once you have the theme(s) of your choice installed, it's time to create your project!

I wish I had time to throw it all out here tonight, but I don't.  So check back for Part 2 in the next few days!

Enjoy!
