Ok, so I’ve had the upgrade for almost a month, but I’ve stayed tight-lipped about it (for the most part) because I hate getting someone excited about something that I can’t give them. However, since it’ll be available for purchase or download in less than 48 hours, I figured it was safe to hype it up now.
First of all, there are so many new functions and tricks in the 3.0 Upgrade that I couldn’t even begin to outline them all in one post. Probably not even in three.
But here are the two things that make it SO worth it just by themselves. First, it has this incredible auto-populate feature now that does most of the work for you. If you’re building a book chronologically, you can create the project, tell it what photos you want, and click yes when it asks Do you want the software to automatically place these photos on pages in the project? It could take a few minutes depending on how many photos you are bringing in to the project, but the cool thing is that it will read the time/date stamp that your camera embeds in your photos and group pictures on the pages based on that information.
I used this feature on a project for a family member and it really sped up the process. Ever felt like hiring someone to do the work for you? This is it!
The second thing that makes this upgrade so worth the price? It comes with free content that’s worth more than the upgrade itself! The CD or download is packed with the Cottage Garden Digital Kit (very beautiful) and the Cottage Garden 12×12 predesigned pages. These together are worth $15.90, and the upgrade is only $9.95! (at least through the end of October)
That’s just the tip of the iceberg. You can now do some incredible things with text, apply some great new filters, round corners, rubber stamp your embellishments, and a whole lot more! I’ll keep you posted …
